Expert in managing the medical and safety aspects of any level of remote site, either on or offshore, as well as advising on and formulating emergency response at any level from within the site to international evacuation
- Present time - Senior Technical and QHSSE Trainer for Weatherford Drilling International, with 300 crew on 7 rigs around Australia.
- Medic/HSE/Administrator on land based exploration drill rig, (largest in Australia) for Weatherford Drilling International. Consultant in teaching high level skills to other trainee medical professionals.
- Remote Area Solo Practice Nurse Practitioner.
- Registered Nurse, (locums up to level of Director of Nursing)
- Experienced as a Rig Medic, Emergency-preparedness Consultant and Safety Department Representative offshore on a Semi-submersible and drill ship
- Health, Safety and Environment auditor and surveyor and very experienced in implementing internal auditing and quality control. Developed own audit tool, for safety and remote clinic management.
- Coordinated disaster teams and was Team Leader for AusAID in Banda Aceh and Nias after the December 2004 Asian Tsunami and March 2005 earthquakes.
- Experienced in developing training courses for various subjects ranging from advanced resuscitation to offshore Health, Safety and Environment training for medics and remote area Physicians.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well at all levels of an organisation.
- Multi – lingual with fluency in English, Basic Indonesian, Mandarin and German, Excellent Aboriginal Pitjantjatjara.
- Computer literate with experience in using the MS software suite
